Liguria launches information campaign for Electronic Health Record
The Liguria Region, in collaboration with Liguria Digitale, is launching an information campaign on Monday, October 26, to promote the use of the Electronic Health Record (FSE). The digital tool aggregates clinical data, medical reports, prescriptions, and health history to streamline interactions between citizens and the healthcare system.
Regional Health Councilor Massimo Nicolò noted that while the service is already active, free, and easy to use, adoption rates among the population remain low. The campaign aims to reduce reliance on paper documents during medical visits through radio and television spots, digital signage, and online banners.
Citizens can access the platform via the dedicated portal using SPID, the Electronic Identity Card (CIE), or a health card. Upon first access, users can provide consent for doctors to consult their records. The system also allows users to manage appointments and verify medical exemptions.
