Ligurian cultural figures Vincenzo Bolia and Umberto Padovani highlighted

Various cultural figures from the Liguria region are gaining recognition through literary and artistic works. Vincenzo Bolia, a poet and dialectologist from Albenga, is noted for his contribution to the "threshold poetry" (poesia di soglia) movement. His work, characterized by essential forms and suspended meanings, is written in both Italian and the Albenga dialect.

In the visual arts, illustrator and graphic artist Umberto Padovani is participating in the collective exhibition "Inquadrando musica e parole" at Villa Vicini in Zoagli. The exhibition features works from ten contemporary artists and includes Padovani's graphic interpretations and video commentary dedicated to the songs of Fabrizio De André. The event is held in collaboration with the Fondazione Pistoletto Città dell’Arte Biella and is open to the public through August 16.
