LIKDUL becomes Uganda’s first Red Bull Dance Your Style champion

Abdul Malik, known professionally as LIKDUL, has become Uganda’s first Red Bull Dance Your Style champion. He secured the title after defeating MICO Styles in the national final held at Motiv in Kampala.

The competition utilizes a unique format where the audience serves as the judge. Dancers compete one-on-one in freestyle battles, responding to unexpected music without rehearsed routines, relying instead on musicality and crowd connection. LIKDUL advanced through the semi-finals alongside MICO Styles, KiiNESIS, and PEZZ MUSTAFA to claim the championship.

Following this victory, LIKDUL will represent Uganda at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Zurich, Switzerland, this October, competing against national champions from across the globe.
