Likud MK Boaron issues 24-hour ultimatum to departing members

Likud MK Avihai Boaron has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to Knesset members Dan Illouz and Yuli Edelstein, demanding their immediate resignation following their announcements that they will leave the Likud party.

Boaron accused both lawmakers of acting in an "unethical" and "immoral" manner, stating that they are "trading on the votes of the voters and the mandate given to them by Likud voters." He argued that since they were elected under the Likud banner, they should resign immediately rather than remaining in the Knesset while planning to join other parties.
