Lil Boosie to discuss failed pardon attempt on ‘60 Minutes’

Rapper Lil Boosie is set to appear on the CBS news program ‘60 Minutes’ to discuss a legal dispute involving a failed presidential pardon. In a promotional clip, Boosie tells journalist Leslie Stahl that he paid $600,000 to lobbyists Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, via their firm JM Burkman & Associates, in an attempt to facilitate a pardon that never occurred.

Boosie reportedly connected with the pair through an introduction from a Trump insider, under the impression that the lobbyists had influence with the former president. The rapper has since filed a lawsuit against the lobbyists for failing to deliver on the promised services.
