Lil Durk faces expanded racketeering murder indictment as co-defendants seek to sever ties

Federal prosecutors filed a superseding indictment on June 3 that adds a racketeering‑murder charge and revises a firearms allegation against rapper Lil Durk and his alleged co‑conspirators. The new filing links the gun count to a broader racketeering case that spans incidents in Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles, and it alleges Durk participated in a murder‑for‑hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo after the 2020 killing of King Von. Durk has pleaded not guilty and the trial is scheduled to begin on August 20, 2026.

Two OTF members, Deandre Wilson (OTF DeDe) and David Lindsey (Browneyez), have renewed motions to sever from Durk’s case, arguing their involvement was limited to the August 2022 Los Angeles shooting that killed Saviay’a Robinson. A third defendant, Asa Houston (Boogie), also seeks to be severed. Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald previously denied a severance request, noting overlapping evidence and keeping the joint trial date in place.
