Lil Durk's VICAR trial postponed ahead of November bond hearing
The VICAR trial for rapper Lil Durk, originally scheduled to begin on October 5, has been postponed. This follows his recent acquittal on murder-for-hire charges on September 11. While Durk was found not guilty of those charges, his co-defendants, Deandre ‘OTF Dede’ Wilson and David ‘Browneyez’ Lindsey, were convicted of stalking and stalking conspiracy and are currently appealing their rulings.
The postponed VICAR trial involves allegations that Durk operated a criminal enterprise. His legal team, led by attorney Drew Findling, intends to file motions to have the second case dismissed, citing the recent acquittals on related accusations. Durk is currently seeking bond as he awaits the next legal proceedings. A bond review hearing is scheduled for November 4.
