Lil Jon shares personal revelations in new memoir

Rapper and producer Lil Jon has released a new memoir, ‘I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me’, which details significant personal challenges and family discoveries.

In the book, the artist discusses the tragic death of his son, Nathan Smith, at age 27. He recounts their final phone conversation, during which he encouraged his son to take care of himself. Lil Jon also describes a final message from Nathan expressing love and a desire to communicate better before his passing.

Additionally, the memoir reveals that the man who raised him, Willie, was not his biological father. Lil Jon learned this through a cousin's DNA test. He noted the difficulty of processing this information given that his mother and father have both passed away, leaving him without the ability to seek direct answers.
