Lil Wayne criticizes NFL officiating after Packers loss

Rapper Lil Wayne expressed intense frustration on social media following the Green Bay Packers' 39-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. In a series of posts on X, the artist criticized NFL officiating, claiming the quality of refereeing made the game unwatchable.

Wayne stated, “Fake af I can’t respect the game when the refs can’t ref the game. I’m out on the NFL this year.” He specifically targeted the officiating during the Minnesota game, suggesting that penalties against the Packers negated turnovers and facilitated the Vikings' comeback after Green Bay had held a 22-10 lead.

A vocal supporter of the Packers, Wayne has a history of criticizing league figures and players. Despite his comments about stepping away from watching the NFL this season, he continues to host a weekly podcast, ‘The Joint Venture’, with sports personality Craig Carton.
