Lil Wayne reveals unreleased music vault with Drake

Lil Wayne has revealed that he and Drake possess an extensive archive of unreleased collaborative music, with some recordings dating back to 2014 and 2015. During an appearance on ‘The Joint Venture Show,’ the Young Money founder explained that he frequently reviews these files to assess how they hold up against modern production standards.

Wayne noted that he actively works on refreshing these older tracks by editing them before sending the updated versions to Drake. According to Wayne, Drake responds enthusiastically to these files, often inquiring about official release dates.

While rumors of a joint project have circulated since 2011, the two artists have not released a collaborative track since 2021, when they appeared on Drake’s ‘Certified Lover Boy’ and Nicki Minaj’s ‘Seeing Green.’ Wayne indicated that their creative relationship remains competitive and active through regular communication and song exchanges.
