Lil Yachty to make WWE debut against Baron Corbin

Rapper Lil Yachty is scheduled to make his professional wrestling debut at WWE’s ‘Sunday Night’s Main Event’ on September 6 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. Yachty will face United States Champion Baron Corbin in a five-minute challenge. If Yachty successfully lasts the full five minutes, former champion Trick Williams will earn a rematch for the title.

Yachty has been appearing on WWE programming since April 2026, serving as an on-air manager for Trick Williams. While fan reactions to his involvement have been mixed, reports indicate that Yachty has been training at the WWE Performance Center to prepare for the match.

In other WWE news, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce stated he has ‘less than zero interest’ in returning to active wrestling, though he did not rule out the possibility entirely.
