Liliya Akhmetzyanova to perform Einaudi and Jackson tributes in Cagliari

Pianist Liliya Akhmetzyanova will perform a double concert series at Teatro Doglio in Cagliari on September 26. The event, part of the Fever’s Candlelight series, features two distinct programs dedicated to different musical styles.

The first performance, scheduled for 7:30 PM, is a tribute to the contemporary compositions of Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi. The setlist includes works such as ‘I Giorni’, ‘Le Onde’, ‘Nuvole Bianche’, ‘Una Mattina’, ‘Divenire’, ‘Fly’, ‘Primavera’, ‘In Un’Altra Vita’, and ‘Elegy for the Arctic’.

The second concert begins at 9:30 PM and focuses on the music of American pop icon Michael Jackson. This program offers an instrumental reimagining of Jackson’s catalog, stripping away vocal tracks and choreography to highlight the melodies and harmonic structures of songs including ‘Billie Jean’, ‘Smooth Criminal’, ‘Thriller’, ‘Man in the Mirror’, and ‘Earth Song’.
