Lille and Rennes target Ligue 1 stars Johann Lepenant and Estéban Lepaul
FC Nantes midfielder Johann Lepenant is attracting attention as the club looks to generate cash after a disappointing season. French champions Lille are reported to be interested, and German side RB Leipzig has also shown intent, valuing the 23‑year‑old at around €7 million.
At Stade Rennais, the focus is on retaining striker Estéban Lepaul, the league’s top scorer with 21 goals. The club has begun contract talks and rebuffed reported offers, including a €60 million bid. Director Loïc Désiré said, “We want to keep the player, that’s clear,” while European clubs such as Atlético Madrid, Benfica and Roma remain interested.
