Lille denies any Manchester City deal for midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi

Lille president Olivier Litan told reporters that there is no agreement with Manchester City over Moroccan midfielder Ayoub Bouaddi. He emphasized that Bouaddi is a "100 % Lille player" and that rumors of a pending transfer are unfounded.

Bouaddi, 18, is under contract with Lille until 2029 after an extension signed in December 2025. Litan said the club has received concrete offers from major European sides, but none meet Lille’s valuation. He ruled out any loan move, stating any future sale would have to be a permanent transfer. While acknowledging interest from big clubs, Litan stressed Bouaddi remains a key pillar of Lille’s project and will continue to feature in Ligue 1 and European competition.
