Lille OSC defeats Troyes to reach top of Ligue 1

Lille OSC secured a 2-0 victory against ES Troyes AC, moving temporarily to the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

Tiago Santos opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a spectacular strike following a pass from Dilane Bakwa. The match saw two earlier goals by Lille disallowed due to offside decisions.

Ethan Mbappé sealed the win during stoppage time, scoring his first goal of the Ligue 1 season after a combination involving Haraldsson, Giroud, and Kjaergaard. This performance follows a difficult week for the young attacker, who was recently sent off during a Champions League match against Real Betis.
