Lillestrom and Torreense to debut in UEFA Europa League

Lillestrom and Torreense are set to make their debuts in the UEFA Europa League league phase this Thursday. The match will take place at Arasen.

Torreense, a Portuguese second-tier side, secured their place in the competition after winning the Taça de Portugal by defeating Sporting Lisbon. They become one of the first clubs from outside the top flight to reach this stage of the revised tournament format. Lillestrom, the Norwegian second-tier champions, also reached this stage following the playoff round.
