Lillian Axe announces new bassist and upcoming 2027 album

New Orleans-based hard rock band Lillian Axe has announced that their upcoming studio album has entered the mixing stage. The project, which follows ‘From Womb to Tomb’, is scheduled for release in early 2027 via BraveWords Records.

Bandleader Steve Blaze noted that the recording process took approximately one and a half years and emphasized a creative approach that pushes the band beyond their traditional boundaries. Visual artwork for the release is also nearing completion.

Additionally, the band has introduced Keith Long as their new bass player. Blaze stated that Long, a respected musician in the Texas music scene, was recommended by several trusted contacts and successfully completed his first rehearsal with the group.
