Georgia police rescue two kidnapped children in separate incidents

Law enforcement in Georgia recovered a 1‑year‑old girl, Lilly Hill, after an automated license‑plate reader linked her mother Kasey Hill's vehicle to a traffic stop in Cartersville. The child had been taken from Winchester, Tennessee, prompting an Amber Alert that was ended when officers located the vehicle and secured the child safely.

In a separate incident in Midtown Atlanta, police responded to a vehicle theft and kidnapping reported on Spring Street NW. Officers recovered the child unharmed and arrested a suspect after locating the stolen vehicle near a Publix shopping center on Collier Road NW. Both rescues concluded without injury to the children.
