Lilly Palmer signs with Universal Music and Island Berlin

Techno DJ and producer Lilly Palmer has signed a contract with Universal Music Group, specifically with Universal Music Germany and the Island Berlin division. The announcement marks a significant move for the German-Swiss artist, who has transitioned from the Zurich club scene to becoming a major international headliner.

Her first single under this new deal, titled ‘Hey You’, was released on August 28. The track was co-produced by Egbert van der Gugten. Palmer’s recent career milestones include her debut album ‘Bigger Than Techno’, which reached number 39 on the German album charts, and a ranking of 57 in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs for 2025.

Daniel Schmidt, Senior Vice President at Polydor/Island & Ventura Records, stated that the collaboration is a logical step to expand Palmer’s global presence and explore new potential for her music and brand, including features, syncs, and brand partnerships.
