Lily Allen adds Dallas Minor Sextet to Australian and New Zealand tour

Lily Allen has announced that the Dallas Minor Sextet will serve as the opening act for her upcoming West End Girl tour dates in Australia and New Zealand. The cello ensemble, formerly known as the Dallas Minor Trio, will perform instrumental versions of Allen’s well-known hits, such as ‘The Fear’ and ‘LDN’, with lyrics projected for audience participation.

The tour is designed as a continuous theatrical production rather than a standard pop concert. Allen will perform her fifth studio album, West End Girl, in its entirety and in sequence. The production focuses on the narrative of the 14-song record, treating the songs as individual scenes within a larger story.

The tour begins in Auckland at Spark Arena on October 21. Subsequent stops include Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, concluding on November 1.
