Lily Allen cancels Auckland concert due to viral infection

Singer Lily Allen has cancelled her scheduled performance at Auckland’s Spark Arena due to a viral infection. The cancellation occurred on October 20, the day the concert was set to take place, marking her first performance in New Zealand since 2019.

Allen expressed her disappointment on social media, stating she was “absolutely gutted” to let her fans down. Ticket holders will receive automatic refunds via their original method of payment within 14 to 21 days.

Despite the cancellation, the singer’s upcoming Australian tour, which is scheduled to begin on October 23 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, is expected to proceed as planned. A spokesperson for tour promoter Frontier stated that Allen is currently resting and intends to complete the remainder of the tour.
