Lily-Rose Depp films Playmates in Los Angeles

Actress Lily-Rose Depp is currently filming the movie ‘Playmates’ in Los Angeles. The project marks the directorial and screenwriting debut of Lorraine Nicholson, daughter of actor Jack Nicholson.

The film is inspired by Nicholson’s own childhood experiences visiting the Playboy Mansion during the 1990s. The plot follows a 13-year-old girl named Elle, played by Indiana Elle, who views the mansion as a second home. Elle forms an unexpected friendship with Anna, played by Depp, who is one of seven women aspiring to become a ‘Playmate of the Month’ and appear on the magazine’s cover.

Supporting cast members include Bill Pullman, who portrays Hugh Hefner, and Jessica Biel, who plays a fictionalized version of one of Hefner’s wives. Lily-Rose Depp is also serving as a co-producer for the project. Filming is expected to conclude in November, with a release planned for next year.
