Lim Young-woong donates 200 million won for flood relief
Singer Lim Young-woong and his agency, Mulgoogi Music, have donated 200 million won to support residents affected by heavy rainfall in southern South Korea. The donation was made in the name of his fan club, ‘Hero Generation’, through the Community Chest of Korea.
The funds are designated for the ‘2026 Heavy Rain Damage Special Fundraising’ campaign and will be used for emergency relief, temporary housing support, and recovery efforts for victims in areas including Geoje and Tongyeong.
Lim Young-woong has a history of consistent philanthropy, having donated approximately 2.5 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea since 2021. Including a recent 200 million won donation to Korea University Medical Center for vulnerable patients, his total cumulative donations have reached approximately 2.7 billion won.
