Lim Young-woong estimated to earn over 100 million KRW per performance

Industry estimates suggest that trot singer Lim Young-woong commands a performance fee of over 100 million KRW, making him the highest-paid artist in the sector. According to a video released by the YouTube channel ‘Respect Lee Jin-ho’, Lim’s estimated fee is so high that it may limit an event's ability to book additional performers.

Other popular trot singers also had their estimated fees disclosed. Kim Ho-joong is estimated at approximately 50 million KRW, Young Tak at 38 million KRW, and Lee Chan-won at 35 million KRW. Song Ga-in, Shim Soo-bong, and Jang Yoon-jeong are estimated to be in the 30 million to 35 million KRW range, while Park Ji-hyun is estimated at 30 million KRW.

These figures are industry estimates and not officially confirmed contract amounts. Separately, it was noted that Lim Young-woong recently donated 100 million KRW of his own funds, alongside 100 million KRW from his agency Mulgo-gi Music, to Korea University Medicine to support low-income patients. His cumulative donations are reported to have reached 2.5 billion KRW.
