Lima International Book Fair 2026 launches free shuttle service at new Jockey Plaza venue

The 30th edition of the Feria Internacional del Libro de Lima (FIL Lima) runs from 22 July to 6 August 2026 at the newly‑built Centro de Exposiciones Jockey in Surco. The Peruvian Book Chamber, in partnership with the Municipality of Surco, Jockey Plaza and mobility firm Móvil Bus, is providing free shuttle buses every 15 minutes from Jockey Plaza and Parque de la Amistad to the fairgrounds, aiming to ease access for thousands of visitors.

Ecuador is the Guest of Honour, sending a large delegation of writers and artists for a special program. Organisers highlight more than 600 cultural activities, a stronger focus on youth literature, and an improved layout that reduces crowding compared with the previous park venue. Some critics note the absence of a few major international guests, but overall the new venue is praised for better stand organization and visitor flow.
