Lima stages concerts and circus festival for Peru's Fiestas Patrias

Renowned singer Lalo Arroyo and his band performed a two‑hour concert at the restaurant El Mesón del Inca in Lima on July 25, celebrating Peru’s Fiestas Patrias with live music, traditional dances and regional cuisine. Attendance was limited and reservations were required by phone.

At the same time, Lima hosted the International Circus Festival Pulso, a multi‑day event featuring up to eight simultaneous shows. Acts included the Russian Lemon Brothers on stilts, 11‑year‑old aerialist Zlata Chaikovskaia, and a live twelve‑musician ensemble directed by French conductor Pierre, who travels to Peru each year to synchronize music with the diverse circus performances. The festival, recognized as Peru’s cultural heritage, highlighted the country’s vibrant performing‑arts scene during the national holiday.
