Lima to host international electrical sector expo

Lima will host the second International Electrical Sector Expo (PECIER-FISE) from October 28 to 30 at the Jockey Exhibition Center. The event is expected to draw more than 100 companies from at least 10 countries to promote business alliances and new opportunities within the Latin American electrical industry.

The expo will feature participants from energy generation, transmission, and distribution, as well as manufacturers of electrical equipment, renewable energy providers, and technology specialists. The academic agenda will focus on “Energy policy and supply security in times of transition,” covering topics such as sector reform, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.

Nilton Olazábal, president of PECIER and general manager of Grupo Distriluz, stated that regional integration can facilitate access to new markets, technologies, and knowledge, aiming to translate connections into concrete projects for Peruvian and Latin American companies.
