Lima transport authority expands bus fleet for BTS concerts
The Urban Transport Authority for Lima and Callao (ATU) has expanded its special transport operation to assist fans attending the BTS concerts at San Marcos Stadium. Initially planned with 80 buses, the fleet has increased to 180 units provided by 17 different transport companies to facilitate the return of attendees following the three scheduled performances.
ATU Executive President David Hernández announced that the operational plan, coordinated with the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and the National Police, includes strategic boarding points around the stadium to ensure an orderly and safe departure.
Available routes will cover several major areas of the capital, including:
• Lima Norte: Destinations such as San Martín de Porres and Los Olivos. • Lima Este: Routes toward San Juan de Lurigancho and central Lima. • Lima Sur: Services to Villa María del Triunfo and Villa El Salvador. • Callao: Specific services via companies such as Señor del Mar and Avagon. • Other areas: Additional services will connect to Pueblo Libre, Miraflores, San Miguel, San Isidro, and Ate via the Corredor Rojo.
