Liman Ayık Yaşam Derneği opens Erzurum branch

The Erzurum branch of the Liman Ayık Yaşam Derneği has officially opened in the Yakutiye district on Karanlık Kümbet Street. The association focuses on combating various forms of addiction, including substances, alcohol, and gambling, by providing free and non-medicinal guidance services.

The organization aims to help individuals reintegrate into social life after overcoming addiction while providing necessary support to their families. The opening ceremony included local officials, including Erzurum Governor Aydın Baruş, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen, and Yakutiye Mayor Mahmut Uçar.

Serkan Demir, the Erzurum Branch President, described the initiative as a mission driven by local need and devotion. Mayor Mehmet Sekmen expressed support for the association's methods, noting the importance of such facilities in the region.
