Limbang Information Centre burglary leads to arrest

A 39-year-old man has been detained by police in Limbang, Sarawak, following a burglary at the Limbang Information Centre. The theft, which occurred at the building managed by the Limbang District Council, resulted in losses estimated at nearly RM78,000.

Police reported that the suspect allegedly pried open doors to steal glass window frames and aluminum structures from both the upper and lower floors of the building. During the investigation, authorities recovered eight sacks containing dismantled aluminum metal parts. The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
