Law enforcement agencies conduct various crime operations across Latin America and Europe

Law enforcement agencies across Latin America and Europe have conducted various operations targeting organized crime, theft, and corruption. In Brazil, Gaeco launched Operation Barattieri in Água Clara to investigate a scheme involving the embezzlement of school meal funds through inflated purchase orders. In Santa Catarina, Operation Enforcer is investigating threats made against a public official.

In Argentina, authorities have recovered stolen motorcycles in Viedma, América, and Juan José Castelli, while also dismantling a drug distribution point in Santa Rosa and conducting inspections of workshops in Resistencia to find stolen parts. In Colombia, police dismantled illegal mining infrastructure in Ayapel, Córdoba, estimated to be worth $230 million, which was reportedly funding criminal groups.

In the Dominican Republic, police executed arrest warrants in Santiago and intercepted drug distribution points in Nagua. Meanwhile, in Spain, a man was arrested in San Ginés for attempting to sell amphetamines hidden in a chewing gum container.
