Limeira woman injured in knife attack, suspect arrested for attempted femicide

In the Jardim Novo Horizonte neighborhood of Limeira, São Paulo, a woman was attacked with a knife during a dispute at a friend's house. She suffered two facial wounds and, despite being injured, escaped to a nearby green area. The assailant then attempted to continue the assault with an iron bar, but the victim fled again. Police located the suspect at the address he provided, seized a knife, and placed him under arrest on charges of attempted femicide. Both the victim and the suspect were taken to a municipal health unit for medical care before being presented to the Limeira police station.
