Limón judicial agents arrest homicide suspect after police chase

Judicial investigation agents from the Limón Regional Delegation of the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) arrested a 27-year-old man, identified by the surname Samudio, on Wednesday afternoon. The arrest follows an investigation into the February 16 homicide of a 32-year-old man named Salazar at a commercial establishment in central Limón.

The arrest took place at the Moín junction on Route 32. Upon noticing judicial agents, the suspect attempted to flee, resulting in a collision with a police vehicle and a guardrail. Samudio was neutralized and transferred to the Public Ministry to determine his legal status.
