Limp Bizkit returns to the studio to work on new music

Limp Bizkit has reportedly returned to the studio to work on new material, following recent social media photos and fan reports. This development follows guitarist Wes Borland’s previous indications that the band intended to utilize time in August to write and develop new songs, potentially building upon ideas from earlier sessions.

If the band completes a full-length project, it would mark their first studio album following the passing of co-founder and longtime bassist Sam Rivers. The recording activity coincides with a period of renewed popularity for the group and a busy touring schedule.

In addition to studio work, the band is set to headline the Good Things Festival 2026 in Australia. The festival will take place in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane from December 4th to December 6th, 2026.
