Limp Bizkit's connection to the World Trade Center

Twenty-five years after the September 11 terrorist attacks, the band Limp Bizkit maintains a unique connection to the event through their music video for “Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle).”

Just days before the attacks, the band won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Rock Video. The music video for the track featured footage of the band performing on top of one of the World Trade Center towers. Following the destruction of the towers, the band and the public ceased playing the video. Guitarist Wes Borland noted in a 2015 interview that “nobody wanted to see it” after the tragedy.
