Lin An-ko hits seventh home run, drives in five for Seibu Lions

Taiwanese batter Lin An-ko delivered a standout performance for the Saitama Seibu Lions in their Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) matchup against the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. Starting as the fifth batter and playing left field, Lin hit his seventh home run of the season—a massive three-run shot—in his first at-bat during the first inning.

Lin continued his momentum in the third inning, hitting a two-run single to extend the Lions' lead. He finished the game with two hits in four at-bats and five RBIs, helping the Lions secure an 8-4 victory.

Seibu pitcher Kosei Takahashi earned his ninth win of the season, pitching 6.2 innings with 10 strikeouts. Despite a mid-game rally by Rakuten, including a three-run home run by Ryosuke Tatsumi, the Lions maintained control to close out the win.
