Lin Chia-cheng joins Nippon-Ham Fighters' Phoenix League roster

Taiwanese catcher Lin Chia-cheng has been named to the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters roster for the Miyazaki Phoenix League. This move allows the player to gain further practical experience during the autumn season after spending his first year in Japan primarily developing in the second tier.

Lin, who has previously represented Chinese Taipei in major international tournaments, recorded a .313 batting average and a .749 OPS across 48 games in the second tier this season. He will compete alongside other catchers in the Phoenix League as he prepares for the upcoming season.
