Lin Kuo-chang launches youth support group and attends Yilan charity event

Lin Kuo-chang, a Democratic Progressive Party candidate for Yilan County Magistrate, has held two significant public events to engage with the community and local youth.

During a National Day event, Lin attended a charity blood donation drive hosted by Zhen Di Bakery, a long-standing local business. The bakery owner honored Lin’s long-term commitment to public service by presenting him with a custom pastry mold featuring the slogan ‘Good Luck Kai-Chang.’ Lin expressed his admiration for the bakery’s consistent efforts to collect blood donations since 2018.

Additionally, Lin officially launched his Youth Support Association, an event attended by over 200 young people from across Yilan’s 12 townships. During the assembly, Lin outlined his vision to transform Yilan into a ‘paradise’ for young residents by addressing employment and infrastructure. His proposed policies include attracting AI, drone research, and biotechnology industries, advocating for railway elevation and high-speed rail extensions, and providing subsidies for commuting via the TPASS system. He also pledged to develop 400 high-quality housing units for young families.
