Lin Tzu-yu and Su Chin-hsien win mixed doubles table tennis gold at Asian Para Games
Taiwanese table tennis players Lin Tzu-yu and Su Chin-hsien secured the gold medal in the XD20 mixed doubles category at the Nagoya Asian Para Games. The duo defeated the Hong Kong pair of Lam Yan-yu and Wong Hon-lam with a 3-1 victory, avenging a previous loss in the group stages.
This victory marks Su Chin-hsien’s first career Asian Para Games gold medal. Lin Tzu-yu, who previously won gold in the women's singles C10 category, has now achieved two gold medals in two consecutive Asian Para Games. Lin is currently pursuing a potential third gold medal in the women's doubles event.
Su noted that she initially struggled with the pressure of competing alongside Lin, but was able to overcome her nerves through tactical discussions and encouragement from her partner.
