Lina Tejeiro announces the birth of her first son, Gael

Colombian actress and entrepreneur Lina Tejeiro has announced the birth of her first son, Gael. Although the birth was originally expected in early October, medical professionals advised advancing the delivery to ensure the health and well-being of both mother and child. The baby was born on September 16, 2026, at a private clinic.

Tejeiro, 34, has documented her pregnancy journey since April and shared that she will be raising her son as a single mother with the support of her family. Following the birth, she plans to take a temporary hiatus from television to focus on motherhood.

In recent media appearances, Tejeiro also reflected on her time participating in the reality show ‘MasterChef Celebrity’. She revealed that she experienced tension with judge Nicolás de Zubiría due to his critiques of her cooking, noting that she struggled to manage her frustration during the competition.
