Linamar and Mattr report strong second-quarter financial results
Linamar reported record second-quarter sales of CAD 3.1 billion and normalized net earnings of CAD 183 million. The company’s mobility business and access-equipment operations drove performance, offsetting weakness in agricultural markets and tariff-related pressures in the industrial segment. Normalized earnings per share rose 9.6% to CAD 3.08. Linamar also increased its quarterly dividend by 10% to CAD 0.32 per share.
Mattr reported strong second-quarter 2026 results, with revenue from continuing operations reaching $396.2 million, a 23.4% increase year-over-year. Operating income rose to $39.6 million, compared to $10.4 million in the previous year. Following these results, Mattr raised its 2026 outlook for revenue, adjusted EBITDA, and operating cash flow. The company also extended the maturity of its US$300 million revolving credit facility to October 2030.
