Linares announces security plan for San Agustín Fair

Authorities in Linares have presented the Traffic, Mobility, and Security Plan for the upcoming Real Feria de San Agustín 2026. To enhance surveillance and response capabilities, the security device will include the use of a drone and a canine unit.

The plan involves 62 Local Police officers expected to handle approximately 400 services, supported by Civil Protection volunteers during peak crowd concentrations. A Coordination Center (CECOP) will be established to improve inter-service communication and response speed.

To manage congestion, new deterrent parking areas will be implemented to facilitate access to the Fairgrounds and reduce vehicle pressure in nearby zones. Officials recommend that citizens utilize public transportation and follow all local police instructions regarding traffic and circulation.
