Lincoln City held to a goalless draw by Blackburn Rovers
Lincoln City played to a goalless draw against ten-man Blackburn Rovers at ProAmpac Stadium. Despite Lincoln City entering the match on a two-game winning streak, they were unable to capitalize on their opportunities to secure a victory.
Lincoln City controlled much of the early play, with Rob Street missing an early header. The match shifted after Blackburn Rovers' Tom Atcheson received a yellow card in the 13th minute. Blackburn managed to maintain possession more effectively as the game progressed. A significant chance for the visitors occurred late in the first half when Todd Cantwell's free kick was narrowly saved by George Wickens.
