Lincoln to import Chinese-made Corsair for 2027 US market

Lincoln plans to introduce a Chinese-made version of the Corsair for the 2027 model year in the United States. This mid-cycle refresh will feature a revised front and rear design similar to the 2027 Nautilus, though the interior is expected to remain largely unchanged compared to the updated Chinese version.

The 2027 model will feature standard all-wheel drive and a new 2.0-liter hybrid powertrain producing 305 horsepower, an increase from the previous 250 horsepower. However, the vehicle is expected to cost approximately $5,000 more than the 2026 model, alongside an increase in destination fees.

The decision to import the Corsair from China comes despite significant 52.5% tariffs and Ford leadership's previous statements regarding the benefits of domestic production. While production for the larger Nautilus is slated to return to the US in the coming years, the Corsair will continue to be sourced from China for the time being.
