Linda Cardellini discusses 13-year engagement at 2026 Emmys

Cardellini noted that the couple has already navigated the most difficult aspects of a relationship, stating, “We’ve done all the hard stuff. We’re doing all the real stuff.” She joked that the only significant task remaining would be organizing a large wedding celebration for their extensive families.

The pair, who share a 14-year-old daughter, Lilah-Rose, have known each other since elementary school. They reconnected years later when Rodriguez moved to Los Angeles to work as a makeup artist, a profession that has also seen him contribute to Cardellini’s professional red-carpet appearances.
