Linda Gray shares 'Dallas' set stories ahead of memorabilia auction
Actress Linda Gray is collaborating with Julien's Auctions for the "Ladies of the '80s" sale, launching August 12. The auction will feature costumes, props, and personal archives from prominent television stars of that decade, including two of Gray's original scripts from the "Who Shot J. R.?" storyline of the series "Dallas."
In preparation for the auction, Gray shared anecdotes regarding her time on the set of "Dallas," specifically noting how her late co-star Larry Hagman handled on-screen kissing scenes. Gray stated that Hagman, who disliked kissing scenes, used practical jokes to cope with the awkwardness. She recalled instances where he would have a mouthful of peanut butter or onions to make the scenes less romantic and more humorous.
