Linda Górecká, the Miss Czech Republic winner, has addressed allegations regarding a potential rules violation during the Miss World competition. The controversy began when a Vietnamese makeup artist, Hường Phiêu, shared screenshots of private communications suggesting Górecká had requested personal hair and makeup services for the final, which would violate competition rules requiring contestants to use official staff to ensure equality.

Górecká clarified that she misunderstood the instructions provided to contestants. She stated that while contestants were told they could arrange their own services if they did not wish to use the official Miss World team, she did not realize this meant she could hire an external professional. Upon learning the specific restriction, she canceled the request and instead used the official Miss World stylists.

Górecká expressed deep disappointment and sadness, noting that she had prepared intensely for the competition but failed to reach the TOP40. Some reports also suggested the communication might have been intended for her mother rather than the contestant herself.
