Linda Király recounts unexpected meeting with Whitney Houston

Hungarian singer Linda Király recounted a memorable encounter with Whitney Houston that took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel during her time in the United States. While waiting for a friend who worked at the hotel, Király unexpectedly met the American icon.

Király noted that despite having met many global stars, the encounter left her visibly shaken. Houston recognized Király’s face, having previously seen her photos through a record label they both had connections to. Rather than discussing the music industry or career advice, Houston focused on personal well-being. She spent approximately thirty minutes speaking to Király about the importance of family and maintaining healthy relationships with those around her. Király stated that these words have remained with her throughout her career, especially during times when she felt lonely while working in the U.S.
