Czech tennis player Linda Noskova is competing in the US Open following her recent victory at Wimbledon. At 21 years old, Noskova became the youngest Wimbledon champion in 15 years after defeating compatriot Karolína Muchová in an all-Czech final.

Since her Grand Slam win, Noskova has risen to a career-best sixth in the WTA world rankings. She has also seen success in doubles, winning the women’s doubles title at the Cincinnati Open alongside Marie Bouzková.

Approaching the US Open, Noskova emphasized her desire to maintain her focus and routine. She noted that while her Wimbledon success provided confidence that she can compete with the world's best, she intends to treat the tournament as a fresh start, beginning with her opening match against American Katie Volynets.
