Linda Zervakis debuts retro look on ProSieben

Former Tagesschau newsreader Linda Zervakis appeared in a highly unusual look for a retro special of the program ‘TV total’ on ProSieben. Known for her serious and reserved presentation style during her eight years with the news service, the 51-year-old presenter embraced a comedic role for the event.

During the broadcast, Zervakis wore a blonde short-haired wig and heavy blue eyeshadow to emulate television announcers from previous decades. She joined moderator Sebastian Pufpaff for a ‘time travel’ segment covering the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. Zervakis later shared photos of the transformation on Instagram, describing the experience as ‘wonderful nonsense’ and reflecting on the bold fashion trends of the past.
